M. Hisae Jewelry is designed and hand-crafted by Michelle Meronek in her Brooklyn studio. First and foremost, Michelle’s biggest influence is Mother Nature. Second, confident women. It is the combination of these two inspirations that provoke her designs. Michelle aims to design for women who not only feel connected to the earth but also feel empowered while wearing products of nature. Because of this, she loves working with stones and crystals and explores their uses in healing and energy flow. Using ancient and modern wax casting techniques, each piece is subtly unique and made with the utmost care. Her works embody stylistically sensual, modernist ideals with an aim to embrace the physicality of conceptual theory in jewelry design.
All design development, sourcing, and production is completed in-house and/or locally within New York City. Strong emphasis is placed on a sustainable practice focus through the use of conflict-free stones, recycled metals, and a made-to-order production style.
