In a lofty, light-filled studio in California, Kelsey soaks up inspiration from her surroundings and channels it through her pottery wheel. She grew up with art by her side, and the pair stuck together all through college, where she studied Art History and Museum Studies. After graduating she worked for MOMA in New York City. Her infatuation with the art of ceramics began after enrolling in a history of Japanese art class. What captured her eye was the attention to detail and the appreciation for natural occurrences. She now designs and creates her own ceramics, and fires them at a studio in Berkeley.
